This Brown trout, caught with a dry fly and weighing aprox 1/2Ib was released after being photographed. I myself release all trout taken on the river, so to try and help conserve stocks. Trout as large as 3.5Ib have been caught on the agivey river, the big ones are very difficult to catch!

Another well known local Agivey angler Uel Linton caught this Spring Cock Salmon of 19.5 IB with only less than five minutes of casting the fly! It proved to be a very difficult fish to bring in. This Salmon was caught at 'Barckleys Carry', a well known deep pool on the Agivey river.
